I managed to publish a Gephi graph on MapBox, which is essentially a one-stop solution for hosting tile-based maps. It's not an easy process, but it's not hard either. I learned how to do it because hosting is free, and I don't have a server anyway.
Some programming knowledge is needed to export node data to properly render it, I don't see a way around Toolkit for now. It would be nice if a plugin existed to export node data to CSV, that would make the process easy for non-programmers.
