Re: New Release Gephi 0.9 new import edges format?
Okay, I figured out that it's like the most annoying bug, but easily fixable. (not sure who to notify, hopefully the admin will see this) So, If you are having trouble importing a edges table into the new Gephi 0.9, it could be because the .csv file CANNOT HAVE ANY SPACES in it. This WILL NOT work: ...

New Release Gephi 0.9 new import edges format?
Howdy Y'all– I'm longtime user/lover of Gephi and stoked on the new release (good work guys!). I've imported an edge table a zillion times before but have never ran into this issue (see screenshot). Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 9.45.55 PM.png I've tried various things, but am just stumped. Any help wou...

Re: Installing Gephi on Mac OS X Mavericks
Thank you very much for that awesome post francis. I was able to get it working without having to delete the old gephi residual files (your step number 2). And the path to my jdk home file was a bit different and figured i would share it. jdkhome="/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/C...

Re: Another Sigma.js question
Yo Sanath;
My bad for the delay in response.
If you are getting all grey colors in your graph, you should check the options when you are exporting the gephi file to include the colors of the nodes. Let me know how it goes...

Accessing the nodes and data through the scripting
Howdy yall.. I've been playing around with that dope Scripting Plugin. I was wondering if anyone knows how to access the nodes and data via the console. For example, if you load any graph into Gephi, (ie that lesmiserables.gexf), and you call the 'g.nodes', you get nothing! I was wondering how you s...

Re: Gephi on OS X Mavericks?
EDIT::: this worked for me too. thanks bro! Running osx mavericks 10.9.2. I downloaded Gephi and it would not load correctly. After starting, it would freeze if I clicked anything. This is what I did to fix the problem for me. I have Java 7 and Java 6 installed on my laptop. Java 7 is my default jav...

More Colors!
Hello all; I am currently working on a project in which I am taking a digital photograph of a painting, and mapping its pixels based on their colors. I was wondering if there was a way to color a node based on the value in its cell. Ideally, it would be just like how you can size the nodes based on ...

Sigma.js ForceAtlas2 animation NOT on a random graph.
Sup homies! So, I've use the sigma.js exporter thing to put a visualization i have on the web. And it worked super well. However, what I like most about gephi is to actually watch the algo run and see all the nodes organize themselves as if it were directed by magic. Now, there is a sigma.js working...
