Ok I'm now getting a new error since I upgraded my Java version.

I'm getting the 'JVM Creation failed' error.

I've edited my gephi.conf file as suggested in

https://gephi.org/users/install/

to xms 512 and xms 1024, but i'm still getting the same error. Any ideas?

That's the whole file. I don't get an error message or anything, the programme just shuts down automatically about a second after it starts
